Rakhine and Muslim Youth Unite in Computer Skills Training in Kyauktaw Township

On August 6, 2025, reports indicated that Rakhine and Muslim students in Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, are collaboratively learning computer skills at a training program run by the Youth Education Centre (YEC). Initiated by youth instructor Ko Pyae Lin in a local village, the course fosters an inclusive environment where, as student Maung Than Naing noted, there is no ethnic discrimination, with Rakhine and Muslim students studying side by side.

Ko Pyae Lin emphasized that the program strictly prohibits discriminatory behavior, promoting unity and friendship through shared education in a non-segregated setting.
